Duncan Day 2025 – Member Participation Form
Let us know how you'd like to participate in this year's Duncan Day weekend! This form is for DDBIA members only and includes options for both days:
Friday, July 11 – Sidewalk Sale: Let us know if you’ll be setting up outside your business.
Saturday, July 12 – Street Party & Farmers Market: Let us know if you’re participating, hosting an activity, requesting space on Kenneth Street, or have promotional info to share.
Share any promotions or activities you'd like the DDBIA to help promote.

DDBIA Member Handbook
As part of our New Member welcome package, we have developed a handbook for DDBIA Members. This handy booklet is full of helpful information about the DDBIA, our programs, Downtown Duncan Dollars, claiming your directory listing, and so much more!
All new members receive a hard-copy book in their welcome package (along with a few other fun treats). We have a limited number of physical books available upon request in the office, but we are happy to provide all members with a digital copy as well! Island Good Days – A Chance to Showcase Your Locally Made Products!
Island Good Days are coming up May 30 to June 6, and this is a great opportunity to celebrate — and promote — the incredible local products that make your business unique! Officially proclaimed by the City of Duncan and other Island communities, Island Good Days is a week-long celebration of the local businesses driving the “shop local” movement.
Whether you make small-batch jams, handmade soaps, artisan foods, or locally crafted goods, this is your moment to shine.
If you already produce or sell locally made items, we encourage you to highlight them during this special week. Not yet an Island Good licensee? Now’s a great time to join and take advantage of promotional opportunities and savings. First-time Island Good members in the Cowichan region can receive 50% off a one-year license, thanks to support from Economic Development Cowichan and Community Futures Cowichan. Let’s show the Island what Downtown Duncan has to offer!
Free Swing Dancing in City - Square - Every Wednesday in June!
Get ready to dance! Join Harbour City Swing for free swing dancing in City Square every Wednesday evening in June from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just want to try something new, everyone is welcome. Come enjoy the music, learn some moves and bring some extra energy to the heart of Downtown Duncan!
