Art in the Alley

Now in its fourth season, Art in the Alley brings local visual artists together for a summer-long art fair, right next to the Duncan Farmers Market. Hosted by the Cowichan Public Art Gallery on the Heritage Green Door property, this is a wonderful way to browse and buy local art while enjoying a Saturday downtown.

40th Day of July
Date: Sunday, August 31
Live music starting at 3 PM
Celebrate the unofficial “40th Day of July” with a full afternoon and evening of live music at Duncan City Square. This tradition, held on Labour Day weekend, brings back favourite performers from the 39 Days of July alongside special guests for one last summer celebration. Enjoy a diverse lineup of local and touring artists, from folk and indie to jazz and funk.
This year’s event also doubles as Longevity John’s 26th Annual 50th Birthday Party – Celebratin’ 75!

Artist Social and Jazz Night

Every Child Matters Walk
