Station Street Common Renovation Update

We are pleased to provide you with the latest update on the Station Street Park renovation plans. The project has progressed significantly, and we are excited to share the following key details:

  1. Design Confirmation: The design for Station Street Park is now 60% confirmed. To view the concept, please visit the City of Duncan's website.

  2. Project Timeline:

  • Approximate Start Date: March 1, 2024

  • Anticipated Completion Date: July 1, 2024

  1. Street Closures: At this stage, no street closures are planned. We will promptly inform you if any closures become necessary as the project progresses.

  2. Parking Spots: We are pleased to announce no parking spots will be lost during the renovation process or in the final design.

  3. Timelines and Soft Estimates: While the provided start and completion dates are our best estimations, it is important to note these timelines are subject to change. The key factor influencing the project schedule is the alternative washroom design, which is still outstanding. Once this design is confirmed, the City of Duncan can proceed with the tender process to select a contractor.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year filled with joy, prosperity, and continued success!
