Station Street Common Renovation Update
As the City of Duncan moves forward with long-anticipated renovations at Station Street Common, we're delighted to initiate a series of regular updates to keep you informed about the ongoing developments. This marks the first step in our commitment to transparency, ensuring you're well-acquainted with the transformative changes underway. Be on the lookout for biweekly updates as we work towards realizing our vision for Station Street Common.
And for our parking enthusiasts, rest assured—no parking spaces will be sacrificed during this transformation. The DDBIA received feedback from our members indicating a lack of support for the proposed food truck/mobile vending spaces. Nevertheless, electrical outlets will still be installed in those areas. This ensures accommodation for special events with vendors requiring electricity. The DDBIA and the City of Duncan remain steadfast in our commitment to convenience.
Mark your calendars! Shovels are scheduled to hit the ground around mid-February, marking the exciting beginning of a new chapter for Station Street Common. Stay tuned for more updates as we collectively enhance your downtown Duncan experience!
