Show and Shine and
Toy Drive
Duncan Day just got an injection of adrenaline as Helmet Head Canada presents the highly anticipated Helmet Head Show and Shine on Station Street, on July 15th.

Grab your sidewalk spot on Station Street at 11 am and hear the rumble of engines fill the air as 100 bikes roar down Station Street, marking the beginning of a thrilling display of motorcycle prowess. Following the ride, participants will compete in a Show and Shine competition, showcasing their motorcycles in four categories: Cruiser, Sport, Custom Bikes, and the coveted Best in Show.

Moreover, this charitable event doubles as a toy drive, encouraging visitors to bring new toys or gift certificates for children aged from babies to teenagers. The Ironworks Cafe and Creperie, conveniently located on Station Street, will serve as the collection site for your toy contributions.
This initiative aims to bring smiles to the faces of children and make a positive impact on their lives. The Helmet Head Show and Shine promises an exhilarating display of motorcycles, fierce competition, and a chance to support children in need. Bring a new toy and watch the rumble.


The Duncan Cowichan Festival Society in association with the Downtown Duncan Business Improvement Association is hosting the highly anticipated event on Saturday, July 15th. Grab your favourite pieces of sidewalk at 10 am and get those Carnival beads on!
This well-loved annual event, promises to captivate audiences with its elaborate floats, colorful costumes, and lively performances.
Participants, ranging from community organizations to local businesses, have dedicated their time and creativity to bring this vibrant spectacle to life.
The parade will follow the pictured route, starting from James Street through the downtown onto Ingram and then along Queens Road returning along James Street to the Cowichan Community Centre.
