Downtown Duncan beckons you to come and play, soak up some culture, or simply relax and people watch in City Square. We coordinate several events all anticipated by the entire Cowichan community; like the Duncan Daze during the Summer Festival, Spooktacular and Christmas Kick Off. Additionally more community groups every year are choosing City Square as their venue to host events.
Come and meet your friends and neighbors at Market in the Square, every Saturday, starting on March 19th 2011. The market will be featuring live entertainment and the most marvelous selection of produce and crafts.

Downtown Events 2011
- Spooktacular - Come celebrate the Halloween season in Downtown Duncan on Saturday October 29th. All kids are invited for trick or treat from 10 to noon. Costume contest in City Square followed by fun spooky games from noon to 2 pm.
- Christmas Kick Off Downtown Duncan - Fri. Nov 25 lets celebrate the start of the Holiday Season with your freinds and neighbors in Downtown Duncan. Live entertainment, Santa's visit and the magnificent fireworks from the roof of City Hall.

ANY ONE CAN USE CITY SQUARE: Duncan City Square is the ideal venue to host
your community event. It provides a large elevated covered stage with ample of power for a sound system or stage lighting. Plenty of trees provide welcoming shade to vendors and to the public attending your event. The Square is equipped with 25 outlets and water for the convenience of vendors. Downtown Duncan Heart of Cowichan where the community meets.
